Film Certificate

All films that i have analysed have been certified 15 or 18 so i researched what makes a film an 18 or an 15. In most of the psychological thrillers that i analysed there were many extremely graphic scenes of violence/sexual violence therefore those would be classed as an 18 but as i want my film reach a wider audience i thought about my classing my film as an 15.But by classing my film as a 15 i rule out my chances to include many conventions of Psychological thrillers in my film e.g. extremely graphic scenes of violence as seen in Taxi Driver and American Psycho - both of which i analysed.

be acceptable."
